Register of Ultimate Beneficial Owners – Obligations by March 31, 2025  

All legal entities in Montenegro are required to update their entries in the Register of Ultimate Beneficial Owners no later than March 31, 2025.

HOW IS THE DATA ENTERED?

The entry is done exclusively electronically, using a qualified electronic signature (token). A token can be purchased from:

• Post of Montenegro
• Coreit company

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE DATA?

The responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of the entered data lies with:

• the entities entering the data,
• the beneficial owners whose data is being registered.
