How to Nostrify a Foreign Diploma in Montenegro?

If you have completed primary, secondary, or higher education abroad and wish to work in Montenegro, you must go through the process of recognizing (nostrifying) your diploma.

The procedure consists of three steps.

1. SUBMITTING AN ELECTRONIC APPLICATION

The first step is to complete an electronic application for the recognition of a foreign educational certificate on the website www.eservisi.edu.me.

The applicant is responsible for the accuracy of all entered information.

2. SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTATION (PDF FORMAT)

All documents must be submitted electronically, scanned in PDF format.

Administrative Fee

• Primary education: 30€
• Secondary and post-secondary vocational education: 50€
• Higher education: 100€

3. PERSONAL COLLECTION OF THE DECISION

After the application has been processed, you will receive a notification that a decision has been issued.

The decision must be collected in person at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation within 30 days.

When collecting the decision, you must present the same documents that were submitted with the application.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Diplomas obtained in the former SFRY before international recognition are not subject to nostrification.
• Diplomas from Serbia issued before January 25, 2008, are not recognized through this procedure.
• A separate application must be submitted for each level of education.
