New Regulations for Artisans: Registration, Qualifications, and Deadlines

 REGISTRATION IN THE ARTISAN REGISTER AND CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP

Under the new regulations, all artisans are required to register in the Artisan Register.
Registration automatically grants membership in the Artisan Chamberalong with the obligation to pay membership fees.

Registration deadline: three months.

PERFORMING COMPLEX CRAFTS ONLY WITH PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Complex crafts may be carried out only by individuals who hold an appropriate professional qualification.

Recognized proof of competence includes:

• A national professional qualification,
• An appropriate level of formal education,
• A passed master craftsman exam.

The qualification recognition process is carried out by the competent ministry, with the opinion of the Center for Vocational Education.

DEADLINE FOR ALIGNING EXISTING QUALIFICATIONS

Artisans already performing complex crafts have approximately 15 months to align their qualifications with the new requirements.
